More on Tim and his Legacy!

Background

Tim was born and raised in London and graduated from UWO (B.Sc) in 1989. He then joined the I.T. department of London Life to help build their new Equity/Bond trading program. In 1997, Tim moved to the "front office" to become a financial planner (earning his CFP in 2002). The methodology and processes of Legacy Planning took shape over the following years and in 2005, Legacy Partners of London was incorporated.

Tim and his wife Carrie have 3 children, Wendy, Ben and Emily. They are active children who enjoy dance, piano, guitar, soccer, basketball, gymnastics and have a variety of pets. This means Tim and Carrie are year-round shuttle bus drivers, coaches, tutors and fans. This may seem busy, but having the time to share in these activities with your children is what makes parenting such a blessing.

Family

Spending time with family is high on their priority list. Here's a photo with his brother's family, when they shared a vacation condo in Florida. While the weather was great, the cousins still loved to just hanging out together in the great room.

Each year Tim's family will find time for a family camping trip (see pictures above). It's a great way to slow down and enjoy quality time together. No airports, no schedules, no TV... just simple times to enjoy the simple pleasures of family.

P.T.C. (prior to children), Tim was active in a wide variety of sports and even earned his private pilots license. Today, hobbies center around the computer (web sites building, photoshop, & programming) which can be accomplished after the kids are in bed. Tim and Carrie are active members of Metropolitan United Church where they were married in 1990.

In Tim's words ...
Everyday we touch the lives of many people. This may be at a Church picnic, a winter of dance lessons or a summer of soccer games. Legacy planning will help ensure you have the time and resources to allow you to participate and volunteer in these fulfilling activities. And by doing so, I believe everyone can start to achieve their greater purpose by simply leaving everything they touch, just a little bit better than they found it.

“Each of us builds our own Legacy one day at a time, through the people we love,
the work we do and involvement in our community.”
