More on John and his Legacy!

Background

John was born in Kelowna B.C. and moved to Ontario at age eight, living in Kingston and Trenton before coming to London to earn a degree at UWO. After graduation, John joined Coca-Cola Ltd. and held various management positions in London and Windsor. In 1990 John joined a local service company to direct the sales and marketing effort. In 2002, John entered the financial services industry with Freedom 55 Financial, earning a CFP designation in 2007 and joining Legacy Partners in 2010.

Family

John and Kate have 4 children and two grandchildren. Son James and his wife Anna live in Bolton and both work at Canadian Tire head office. Two of Nana and Papa’s favourite people are Hailey (5) and Austin (3)…the world’s best grandchildren! Kris and his fiancée Janet, live in Stratford and are employed at Toyota and a local law firm respectfully. Daughter Jocelyne also works at Toyota, but her passion is holistic medicine as her budding practice will testify. Matthew is completing his degree at the Ivey School of Business at UWO and is looking forward to making mom and dad empty nesters!

Travel has always been a favourite pastime. In the past it was a hard-top camper and a backseat full of kids racking up 9 provinces and 38 states over the years. Nowadays we fly and drive or fly and sail and the destinations are a little more exotic. But the best times are spent with the kids, looking at the pictures of their camping trips.
