In partnership with the RunningRoom, Legacy Partners of London was proud to be the main sponsor of the Thanksgiving day
Gobbler Gallop and Giblet Jog
1K, 3K and 6K fun run held in Storybook Gardens on Sunday, October 9th, 2011.

Each participant received a reusable bag of interesting goodies, as well as a long sleeve shirt, plenty of food, and a chance at one of many draw prizes. This was the 8th year for the fun run and our string good weather contineus. Quality time with friends and family while helping address a great need in our community, is a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The London Food Bank accepted donations on the day and as always, 100% of entry fees were used to purchase additional food. This year, our friends at All State also accepted donation at their London Westmount office and matched donations throughout the fall. The grand total of food donated and purchased this year was... 9,824 pounds!!

Thank-you to all the kind hearted participants of this annual event. In the past 4 years, you have helped us donated over 30,294 pounds of food to the London Food Bank. A round of applause to Barry Smith of the Running Room for hosting another wonderful event!!
